Position Description:

Our medical device client has a contract opportunity for an XML Content Solutions Specialist/Stylesheet Developer. This project team based position will focus on extending the client’s current XML based Content Management System using the PTC Arbortext tool set to publish a broader range of product literature. This position will collaborate with business stakeholders and Information Systems to deliver high quality, on-time results in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create specialized DTD and stylesheet design specifications based on business requirements
  • Create specialized DITA-based configuration files including, PCF, DCF, ENT, Modeling and Template files
  • Develop stylesheets using Arbortext Styler for single language and multi-lingual PDF output
  • Validate stylesheet output against requirements and design specifications
  • Collaborate with Information Systems to deploy files to Publishing Engine
  • Provide subject matter expertise to Boston Scientific resources developing stylesheets
  • Transfer knowledge on developed stylesheet construct to Boston Scientific resources
  • Participate in project meetings as required
  • Provide status updates on deliverables and timelines

Required Skills:

  • Stylesheet Development using Arbortext Styler for PDF output (2+ years experience)
  • Creation of specialized DITA based DTDs (2+ years experience)
  • Knowledge of Arbortext Publishing Engine configuration (2+ years experience)
  • General XML Content Management System acumen
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage concurrent tasks
