DESCRIPTION

The Sr. Marketing Communications Project Specialist is the central communication hub for all creative projects. Responsible for collaborating with the Patient Monitoring global marketing team and other key stakeholders, this role facilitates the development and delivery of omni-channel marketing materials.

Managing through influence, this role builds project plans and identifies internal resources and/or agency partners to deliver creative projects on time and on budget. The Sr. Marketing Communications Project Specialist leverages strong project management, verbal and written communication, and collaboration skills to align cross-functional resources.

Reporting to the Director, Global Integrated Marketing, this role works across the Patient Monitoring portfolio to improve the customer experience by guiding others to develop marketing materials tailored to each stage of our customer’s journey.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for key business processes.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Mitigates project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Completed Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of WorkFront or similar project management tool

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

  • Marketing communications or agency experience
  • Experience in regulated industry (ex. healthcare, banking)
  • Understanding of brand guidelines
  • Proven ability to manage through influence
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of Veeva or similar regulated approval system
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to changes in priorities and persevere through ambiguity
  • Ability to partner with and influence stakeholders across the matrix
  • Strong communication, project management, and attention to detail
