POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The NDT (Nonintensive Diabetes Therapies) hardware engineering team is a small group within our client company that is creating innovative technologies as well as internal process innovation. This position is a great opportunity for someone who has good communication skills and thrives in a fast paced, results oriented environment. The Team is developing a next generation Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) wearable device aimed at providing type II diabetes patients with information about their glucose levels.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete technical documentation including product specifications, test plans, test reports, characterization studies and other technical documentation after the engineers complete the data intensive portions of the documents.
  • Work directly with an onsite configuration manager to submit documents through the Change Order (CO) process seeing them through to release in the documentation control system.
  • Experience with the Agile documentation control software is a plus. Upon candidate has become fluent with the quality system he/she will have the opportunity to be trained develop their own configuration management and change order process.
  • Develop and Maintain documentation for release in document control system
  • Collect technical documentation from Engineers and coalesce into master documentation architecture
  • Ability to navigate and follow quality system requirements along with following good documentation practices (GDP)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS – Engineering, or related technical field alternately possess a English/Journalism degree from an accredited institution

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 to 5 years of job related technical writing
  • Experience in a regulated, documentation industry(e.g. Medical Devices or medical field)
    including execution and manage of Engineering Change Request (ECR) and or Change Orders
  • Expert in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ALM systems (e.g. Cognition Cockpit, Jama, Doors, Codebeamer, Foundation
    server etc.)
  • General understanding of electrical, mechanical software design processes and concepts.
