3. Self-directed and able to quickly get up to speed on new projects/programs

This is a full-time, six-month position (with possibility to extend) for an experienced communicator who can support both internal and external communications for improvements being made to our Supplier Change Request process. Because this program will involve significant changes in the process, the candidate should have solid experience supporting projects and programs that involve change and transformation.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Handles the internal communication of system improvements to users of the supplier change request process under an implementation timeline. Creates content for internal website to facilitate on-going communication, FAQs, and implementation timelines/updates. Oversees the merged responsibility of both internal and external communications planning and execution. Directly manages communications activities that promote, enhance, and protect the organization’s reputation to both internal and external audiences. Advances the company narrative to external audiences, which may involve the strategic conceptualization and execution of creative (PR) campaigns. Handles the creation and implementation of multiple forms of internal strategic communication activities, programs and content guided by the client’s Mission and overall business strategy. Oversees and executes the writing, editing and approval of event scripts, speeches, key documents and reports, promotional materials, press releases, interviews, FAQs and other external and internal communications vehicles as defined. Supports senior leadership in communicating to external and internal audiences.
