Sr. Change & HR Communications Specialist – Temporary (J1927) – FILLED

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Sr Change & HR Communications Specialist will provide change management and communication support for the Global HR Operations and Employee Relations Center of Expertise (COE).

The Sr Change & HR Communications Specialist is required to analyze stakeholder needs and implement strategic communications and change tactics that support and promote our HR Operating Model. This includes creating a structured methodology to lead change management efforts, support communication efforts, identify training needs, and identify additional types of support for stakeholders within our COE.

The Sr Change & HR Communication specialist will provide communications support, guidance, and templates to the COEs in Global HR Operations & Employee Relations.

This role requires innovation, influence, change leadership, and leadership through collaboration across all levels of the organization. This role requires an ability to support both tactical and strategic projects which impact employees, managers, the HR Community, and HR Operations & Employee Relations staff.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communications

  • Oversee communication initiatives to support projects within HR Operations & Employee Relations employees.
  • Support champion networks to ensure feedback loops effectively deliver information between users and project owners.

Change Management

  • Identify and support a change management plans for change initiatives that impact end users.
  • Identify and manage change impacts by creating plans to support end users through the change.
  • Engage sponsors and key stakeholders on key project milestones, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of efforts and develop templates and process standards that embody best practices. Create feedback mechanisms for continual process and deliverables improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, AskHR, and the Customer Experience team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years of work experience within an HR function or Communications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HR experience and process knowledge desired
  • Competent in working on cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Research and data analysis experience
  • Competent in Project Management
  • Ability to co-manage a team of individuals and drive a project to successful completion.
  • Highly organized, maintains rigor of process, and holds task owners accountable.
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Competent in written and oral communication. Competent making presentations, giving status updates and facilitating cross-functional and cross-site meetings.
