POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The IBP Communications Manager will be responsible for managing communications planning and execution for our global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) implementation. The position reports to the IBP Communications Director and will partner closely with the IBP program team, IBP subject matter experts, and the network of global communicators across the company.

In this role, you will create and execute communications and change strategies that enable transformation and drive behavior change. You will lead communications planning and execution on program priorities in close partnership with program leaders and stakeholders. An ideal candidate will bring top-notch strategic communications, project management, and collaboration skills needed to successfully manage a regular cadence of content and stories across owned and enterprise channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Lead IBP content planning and execution.
  •  Engage program leaders and subject matter experts to plan strategies and content that drive awareness and knowledge for multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Manage an editorial calendar to ensure regular delivery of content and stories across program and enterprise channels.
  • Produce relevant, targeted content for each stakeholder group across multiple formats (intranet, video, email, talking points, slides, toolkits, etc.)
  • Develop and execute strategic communications and engagement plans for process, tool, and technology implementations as part of IBP program workstreams.
  •  Partner with change management and education teams to ensure alignment of change and communications plans, and support communication for training and change strategies and activities.
  • Serve as a liaison to Global Communications team members across operating units, regions, and functions to coordinate execution of IBP communications globally.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to measure communications effectiveness.
  • Manage and update SharePoint intranet site, along with and other digital channels.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.).
  • 7+ years of experience (or 5+ years with a Master’s degree) in a professional communications role within a Corporate, Agency, or Consulting environment.
  • Excellent writing skills across digital, video, scriptwriting, internal news articles, etc.
  •  Previous work managing communications for large-scale change programs.
  • Self-starter; able to manage a busy schedule and requests from many sources.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and adapt to a changing environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or Master’s in Communications, Organization Development or related discipline.
  • Experience with a large-scale business transformation or organizational change effort.
  • Expertise in which content formats and channels best reach different audiences.
  • Significant client facing experience in a multi-national corporation.
  • Proven experience and ability to navigate complex organizations.
  • Experience with sprint-based technology and/or process implementations.
  • Experience with video editing, graphic design, and marketing automation tools (Eloqua).
