Position Description

The IBP Communications Manager will be responsible for leading communications and change activities in support of our global Integrated Business Planning implementation. The position reports to the Global Supply Chain Change Management Program Manager and will partner closely with the Global Supply Chain Enterprise Process Leads and Program Managers, Transformation communications team and Global Supply Chain communications lead.

In this role, you will create, execute, and evolve communications and change strategies that enable transformation and drive behavior change. You will serve as a strategic advisor to program leadership, providing guidance and coaching around effective communication and engagement practices.

Position Description:

  • Provide communications leadership and feedback, working closely with leadership and sponsors to drive awareness, engagement, and behavior change.
  • Develop and execute focused strategic communications and engagement plans for multiple stakeholder groups, including General Managers, the Executive Committee, and the IBP Leader Forum and measure their effectiveness to drive the desired outcomes of IBP.
  • Partner and coordinate with change management resources, ensuring alignment of change and communications plans to drive program objectives, including help with communication around training and resources for IBP end users.
  • Leverage and deliver strategic communications and change tactics to drive awareness and build knowledge, including solidified messaging, talking points and themes that are consistently used and adopted by leaders.
  • Partner with Global Communications and Enterprise Excellence team members across multiple disciplines (Corporate / Business Group / Region / Functions, Internal and External Communications, Global Brand) to leverage messaging, tools and approaches and coordinate execution of plans.
  • Develop IBP deployment communications toolkit that is scalable and repeatable, with materials targeted specifically for leadership and includes the development of IBP videos.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Process Lead to prepare associated program or organization leaders. Ensure they have the information they need and are enabled to effectively lead organizational change in transformation related activities.
  • Promote use of best practices and consistent methodologies; ensure business and function teams leverage existing systems, process and approaches as appropriate.
  • Serve as a liaison between Transformation, business groups, and regions as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree B.A./B.S.
  • 5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s degree) in a professional communications role within a Corporate, Agency or Consulting environment
  • Proven experience and ability to navigate complex organizations
  • Previous work managing communications for large-scale change programs
  • Experience presenting and interacting with senior management

Nice to Have:

  • MBA or Masters in Communications, Organization Development or related discipline
  • Experience with a large-scale business transformation or organizational change effort
  • Supply Chain experience
  • Significant client facing experience in a multi-national corporation
