Job Description
Senior Technical Writer to create 50% hardware/50% software documentation as well as some training video scripts.
Required Skills
- Experience writing both software and hardware documentation (minimum of five years of experience)
- Experience gathering technical information and creating documentation for both online and print media
- Outstanding technical, editing, writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MadCap Flare (minimum of one year of experience)
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign (minimum of one year of experience)
- Proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker (minimum of one year of experience)
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Captivate or Camtasia Studio for video editing
- Experience using video equipment for making instructional videos
- Experience with digital photography and photo editor such as Photoshop
- Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects and deliverables on aggressive schedules
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with audio editor such as Audacity
- Experience with bubble scanner technology and optical mark recognition
- Experience with Snagit
- Experience with Agile methodology
