Training Developer (Consultant): JO8019
Description:
We are seeking candidates for a client in the insurance/financial services industry to develop training for a new internal data management system rollout. The selected candidate will be developing training documentation for various internal departments (or audiences) who will be using this new system to better manage their incoming new customer data. Thus, the candidate will have to work with developers and various stakeholders inside each user-department to identify their involvement with this new system, and in-turn document and train their users as to how to effectively use the new features of this system. Training will include big-picture system overviews, step-by-step procedures for each the user features, and reference material. Delivery will be both classroom and on-line.
Location: St. Paul, MN
Duration: 6-12 months.
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 7 years experience in the training development field.
•Experience with developing training for any type of internal data-management software implementation (i.e., SAP, Oracle, Lawson, or similar).
•Industry experience with financial or insurance markets.
•Ability to work well with all types of SMEs, and across several departments.
•Requires above-average project management skills, so as to track, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects in-progress at any given time.
•Ability to work closely with team members and cross-functional teams. Negotiating skills, motivational skills, and interviewing skills are highly-emphasized (and necessary).
•Familiarity with Captivate or similar program, and with commonly used intranet web-delivery methods and tools.
